— MEET YOUR IBCLC
Hi, I'm Kelsey
I'm a Registered Nurse and IBCLC with a background in Pediatric Emergency nursing and Women's Health. I'm a military spouse and mom of two boys — and like many new moms, I struggled immensely with breastfeeding.
I went into lactation care so I can help other moms avoid the pitfalls I experienced. I aspire to help every mom reach their own feeding goals — no matter what they are — and feel supported while they navigate parenthood.
— MY STORY
Why I became a lactation consultant
Like many new moms, I struggled immensely with breastfeeding. I took classes, learned hand expression, and tried so hard to be prepared before my son arrived. I did everything I was told to do.
I found out the hard way that breastfeeding is a learned skill — and it's not natural for everyone. After experiencing my own challenges without adequate support, I knew something needed to change.
I went into lactation care so other moms don't have to face feeding challenges alone the way I did. With a background in Pediatric Emergency nursing and Women's Health, I bring both clinical expertise and personal experience to every visit.
As a military spouse, I also understand the unique challenges that come with navigating parenthood in a military family — the frequent moves, the limited local support networks, the Tricare system. I'm here for all of it.

— MY APPROACH
What you can expect from me
🤝
Meeting you where you are
No judgment, no agenda. Your feeding goals are my goals — whether that's exclusive breastfeeding, pumping, supplementing, or something in between.
🔬
Clinical expertise you can trust
As an RN and IBCLC, I bring a clinical lens to every visit — weighted feeds, thorough assessments, and evidence-based guidance tailored to your situation.
💬
Support that doesn't stop
Every visit includes a care plan, Spruce follow-up, and two weeks of messaging support. You're never left wondering what to do next.
🏠
In your environment
I come to you. Seeing feeding in your actual home, in your actual chair, with your actual setup — that's where real progress happens.
🪖
Military family focus
I understand Tricare, PCS moves, and the reality of parenting without a close support network nearby. I'm in-network and I get it.
🌻
Warm, honest care
I've been in your shoes. I know how vulnerable the early feeding days feel, and I show up for every family with patience, honesty, and warmth.

She listened to my story and my goals, helped prepare me during the last few weeks of my pregnancy, and helped me initiate breastfeeding once baby arrived. She came to my house when I needed help in person, was always available via text, and connected me to amazing breastfeeding support groups. Kelsey is so kind, gentle, and attentive — the perfect person to help any mama wherever she is in her journey.
