Get to Know Me

Hi! My name is Kelsey. I am a registered nurse and IBCLC with a background in Pediatric Emergency nursing, and Women’s health. I am a military spouse and I became a mom in 2022 and have the sweetest two boys any mom could ask for. 
Like many new moms, I struggled immensely with my breastfeeding journey. I took breastfeeding classes, I learned hand expression, and I tried so so hard to be perfect at it so I’d be ready before my son arrived. Unfortunately, I found out the hard way that breastfeeding is a learned skill and it’s not natural for everyone. After experiencing my own issues and not having lactation support, I decided to go into lactation care so I can help other moms avoid the pitfalls I experienced. I aspire to help every mom reach their own feeding goals (no matter what they are) and feel supported while they navigate parenthood.
